How to Find a Candidate Dossier to Review for an Internal Review Committee
Review candidate dossiers in PROMOTE as a part of the Internal Review process for a candidate’s promotion, tenure, critical review, or tenure on appointment process.
To complete the steps in this guide, you will need the committee_member role in PROMOTE AND you will need to be properly added as a committee member to a specific committee by a committee_manager. If you do not have the roles you need, check out our user roles guide to learn how to request additional access.
Instructions
To review candidates assigned to a committee that you are on, follow these steps.
Log in to PROMOTE (promote.gatech.edu) using your Georgia Tech credentials.
Select the correct process (Academic Promotion & Tenure, Research Faculty Promotion, Academic Non-Tenure Track Faculty, or Tenure on Appointment).
Click Internal Review in the top right corner.
This step may or may not be required of you depending on if you have additional access in PROMOTE. If you do not see a candidate grid after step 2 and are taken directly to the Internal Review page with your list of committees, you can skip to step 4.
On the Internal Review page, you will see a list of all of the committees you are a member of. Find the correct committee and click Open to navigate to that committee page.
You may have received an email with a link notifying you of candidates that are ready for your review. Clicking the link in this email will take you directly to the appropriate committee page to review the candidate's listed in the email.
5. To look at a candidate's dossier containing all information pertinent for your review, click the candidate's name in the Candidates grid at the bottom of the candidate page. The complete dossier will open in a new tab.
