To notify committee members about candidates that are ready for their review in PROMOTE, follow these steps.
Log in to PROMOTE (promote.gatech.edu) using your Georgia Tech credentials.
Select the correct process (Academic Promotion & Tenure, Research Faculty Promotion, Academic Non-Tenure Track Faculty, or Tenure on Appointment).
Click Internal Review in the top right corner.
On the Internal Review page, find the committee that you would like to add members to and click Open.
Click the Send Email Now button at the top right above the Candidates grid.
If the button appears as No Emails to Send, then you have not yet made the changes stated above that would require an email notification to be sent out.
6. Review the following pop-up. This will spell out what email notifications have been queued up in PROMOTE based on your previous actions in the committee. It will describe the emails ready to be sent to committee managers regarding candidates that require a Pre-Review Check and/or committee members regarding candidates that are ready for their review. It will appear something similar to the following.
7. Once you have reviewed the information in the pop up and are ready to send the email notifications, select Yes. If you would like to wait for the emails to be sent out, select No.
