Log in to GT-TRACS ( https://gttracs.techtools.gatech.edu/gttracs/ ) using your Georgia Tech login credentials.
Ensure that the correct org is showing up in the My Faculty grid that appears on the home page. For more information on how to switch orgs, check out our user guide on viewing different orgs in GT-TRACS.
Click Add New Faculty in the top right of the My Faculty grid. Confirm that the faculty member does not already exist in the system by entering their name or GTID into the search box.
If the faculty member already has an assigned GTID: Select the correct faculty member name from the dropdown.
If the faculty member does not have a GTID assigned to them yet no record will appear in the search. Select Manually Enter Faculty Record.

If you are manually entering the faculty record without a GTID, the new faculty record will give the warning "This record has no GTID assigned. If this is a prospective faculty, please be sure to assign a GTID before beginning the approval process." You can edit the faculty record after creating it to add the GTID at a later time. For more information, check out our guide on how to edit a faculty record. |
Click Continue.
Fill in the Profile information for the faculty member.
Click Save to create the faculty record.
