\uD83D\uDCD8 Instructions

To edit a candidate’s information on their dossier page, follow these steps.

  1. Log in to PROMOTE (promote.gatech.edu) using your Georgia Tech credentials.

  2. Select the correct process (Academic Promotion & Tenure, Research Faculty PromotionCritical Review, Academic Non-Tenure Track Faculty, or Tenure on Appointment).

  3. Scroll through the candidate grid for the process you selected to find the candidate’s row and click on their name in the leftmost column or Edit in the rightmost column to open the candidate’s dossier.

  4. On the dossier page, scroll down to the Components section.

  5. Identify the specific component box for the document you’d like to upload and click +Add to open the component box. Each component will require a slightly different upload process. Select the correct process below to see how to upload the documents for your specific candidate’s components.

 Academic Promotion and Tenure Candidates
  • Biosketch

    • Type the 150 word Biosketch blurb directly in the pop-up text box.

    • Click Save.

  • Teaching Effectiveness

    • Click Select or Drop File to Upload... in the popup and choose the correct .pdf file in your file navigator.

    • Click Close.

  • Personal Narrative

    • Click Select or Drop File to Upload... in the popup and choose the correct .pdf file in your file navigator.

    • Click Close.

  • CV

    • Click Select or Drop File to Upload... in the popup and choose the correct .pdf file in your file navigator.

    • Click Close.

  • Examples of Relevant Work

    • Click Select or Drop File to Upload... button and choose the correct file in your file navigator.

    • Once you have uploaded the correct file, type a short description of the work in the Description box next to the file name.

    • Repeat the steps above until you've uploaded your desired number of relevant works.

    • Click Close.

  • Additional Documents (optional)

    • Click Select or Drop File to Upload... button and choose the correct .pdf file in your file navigator.

    • Once you have uploaded the correct .pdf file, type a short description of the work in the Description box next to the file name.

    • Repeat the steps above until you've uploaded your desired number of additional documents.

    • Click Close.
