Create faculty records in GT-TRACS for faculty members who need to have an appointment, cost share, retention, and/or other package approved in the system.

To create a faculty record, follow these steps.

  1. Log in to GT-TRACS ( https://gttracs.techtools.gatech.edu/gttracs/ ) using your Georgia Tech login credentials.

  2. Ensure that the correct org is showing up in the My Faculty grid that appears on the home page. For more information on how to switch orgs, check out our user guide on viewing different orgs in GT-TRACS.

  3. Click Add New Faculty in the top right of the My Faculty grid.

    1. If the faculty member already has an assigned GTID: Enter the faculty member's name or GTID to search, and select the correct faculty member from the dropdown. 

    2. If the faculty member does not have a GTID assigned to them yet: Select Manually Enter Faculty Record.

  4. Click Continue.

  5. Fill in the Profile information for the faculty member.

  6. Click Save to create the faculty record.
